A contract makes the list when today's volume far exceeds its open interest, with a large premium paid, enough time to expiry, and large trades rather than many small ones.
Then we add up each stock's contracts and rank the stocks by total premium. Indices and funds are left out because their contracts are much larger than a single stock's. Read more about unusual options activity in the glossary.

In the contract flow you get every contract with its strike and expiry, the change in its open interest, the time of its peak trading, and the gamma levels for the same stock.
